Under the direction of Steve Smith, MW., Capricorn wines are from regions carefully matched to the variety, wine style and brand. They are the essence of pure, intensely flavoured New Zealand wines at their best, from the fruity, cool climate Sauvignon Blanc styles to the rich, full-bodied reds from the warmer regions such as the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke's Bay.

Driven by Steve's ambitions and superior standards, and those of his winemaking team, Capricorn wines are presented under four strongly branded labels, each with their own dedicated wine style offering great value and fantastic quality – One Tree, Quails Run, Windflower and Lone Range.
